Elder Damion Smith was born in Trelawny Jamaica under the leadership of Bishop Clive Salmon. From the tender age of 10, Elder Smith dedicated his life to the Lord and it was apparent the anointing of God was on him as he was filled with the Holy Spirit the evening he was baptized. After arriving in Canada to join his mother and the rest of his siblings, Elder Smith attended the assembly of Mount Zion Apostolic Church of Canada under the leadership of the Late Pastor C. Harper.
Elder Smith held the office of Youth President for a number of years before being appointed as a Minister, and was later installed as the third and current Pastor of the Mount Zion Apostolic Church in Malton in 2017. As a man of prayer and dedication, Elder Smith has a strong desire for the people of God to grow in grace and in the knowledge of their Lord, Jesus. He is married to Lady Alanna Smith and they have two children, Jaythan and Victoria.
